Interaction Control System - immediate reactions to medicine interactions

The OSOZ system gives the doctor a tool developed with university researchers allowing for the control of drug interactions.

Doctors with their specialist knowledge make sure that prescribed medicines do not interact. What if the patient during a visit does not disclose information on taken medicines prescribed by another doctor?

The control of interactions in OSOZ is done in three areas including:

- medicines on the prescription,

- medicines prescribed during previous appointments at the doctor's,

- medicines stored in the Individual Health Account which were bought within
the last 30 days.

Control of interaction

Information on medicines prescribed by doctors working with OSOZ is automatically stored on the patient's account. Additionally the account collects data on medicines, even over-the-counter, bought by the patient in the pharmacy. Directly from their software the doctor has access to the patient's pharmacotherapy history and information on allergies to medicines and active substances in medicines.

When a medicine causing interactions with medicines stored on the patient's account and bought within the last 30 days is prescribed, OSOZ will immediately show an appropriate message. Thanks to that it is possible to change therapy even before the patient leaves the office.
